      Hey there!   Sorry the picture is a bit outdated. I've lost the long hair. I guess you could say I've gone "corporate". But it's still nice to meet you. I'm Steve Miller and I own and operate Miller Photographix. My love for photography began at an early age and I have been fortunate enough to turn a passionate hobby into a full time career. Over the years I've had the opportunity to work in several areas of photography and video. Some of my images have been featured on magazine covers, catalogs and marketing materials distributed all over the world. I've produced television commercials along with sales and training videos as well. But my true passion is wedding photography.

     I first moved to the area in 1987 and since then, I've photographed nearly a thousand weddings. Every one has been unique in it's own way and I was fortunate enough to be there and capture it all. I get goose bumps just thinking about it. What a ride!

     How could I not get a kick out of photographing a once in a lifetime event where emotions are high and everyone is looking their best. For me, it's a blast to be able to capture all the love and happiness that are a part of this special day. Knowing all while I'm working, that I'm creating images that the happy bride and groom are going to cherish for the rest of their lives, and the albums I design will become their family heirlooms.  Seeing a bride's eyes light up and huge smile spread across her face when she sees her images, this is what drives and encourages me to do the very best possible for every couple I work with.

     I was doing special effects images back when everything was done "in-camera". Now, with the advent of digital photography, I'm able to do even more to enhance and delight my clients with images of their wedding day.

     I realize that you have a huge choice of photographers, but very few have the experience and reputation that I offer. Brides hire me because I provide just the right balance of great image quality, a fun personality, experience, and affordable prices.
